Coop Netherlands adopts new biodegradable packaging
As of October this year, Coop Netherlands will begin using innovative biodegradable packaging for all its organic meat products.
The old trays will be replaced by biodegradable packaging made from fully recyclable materials of plant origin (glucose and lactic acid), which will avoid the need to send more than a million packages a year for pulping.
