La Doria posts growth in revenue and invests €115 million
La Doria, a leading producer of private label tomato-based products, legumes, fruit juices and pasta sauces, posted revenues of €515.8 million in the first 9 months of 2018 (up 2% year-on-year), of which 80% was generated from exports (+3.7%).
The group has launched a massive €115 million four-year investment programme that will involve rationalising industrial sites, expanding and automating warehouses, and increasing industrial and logistic efficiency.
The Acerra plant ceased production at the end of September and ready-made sauce production was concentrated at the Parma site.
