Anna Paola Cavanna elected new Chairwoman of the Italian Packaging Institute
During its AGM held on 11 May in Milan, the Italian Packaging Institute elected Anna Paola Cavanna as its Chairwoman for the two-year period 2018-2020.
Vice Chair of Laminati Cavanna, a company operating in the flexible packaging sector, she takes over from Antonio Feola.
The newly elected Chairwoman presented a work programme that includes promoting positive communication about the values of packaging, working more closely with entrepreneurs and the management of member companies, and developing technical activities for members.
Cavanna has served as the Institute’s Vice Chairwoman for the last four years and has held important positions at the associations Assografici-Giflex and Confapi Piacenza.
Michele Amigoni, Global Packaging Director of Barilla, and Ciro Sinagra, R&D and Marketing Manager of Laminazione Sottile, were elected Vice Chairmen.
