Campari posts positive organic growth in first nine months of 2018 (+6,6%)
Campari Group posted sales of €1.2 billion in the first nine months of 2018, 2.5% down on the same period in 2017.
The group recorded positive organic growth of 6.6% due to the favourable sales mix of the brands Aperol, Campari, Wild Turkey and Espolòn.
It also posted good results in terms of adjusted EBITDA, which reached €299.8 million (+0.2% total, +8.5% organic), and EBIT, which amounted to €259.2 million (+0.7% and +8.7% respectively). The Group’s gross profit totalled €235.5 million (+4.8%), while the adjusted figure was 4.7% up to €249.4 million.
The biggest growth came in the third quarter, when turnover outperformed analysts’ forecasts to reach €422.4 million (+1.8%).
The most dynamic export areas were Western Europe, Australia and the United States.
