Campari reports growth in first 9 months of year

Following the acquisition of Grand Marnier and the clean-up of its brand portfolio, Campari group posted 8.2% revenue growth in the first 9 months of this year to €1.27 billion along with adjusted gross margin of almost €300 million (+9.8%).

This resulted in adjusted pre-tax profits of €224.6 million, 22.3% up on the €183.7 million of the first nine months of 2016.

Following the acquisition of the French liqueur maker, Campari plans to position itself in the high-end spirits segment while shedding smaller brands.
