Campari sells Carolans and Irish Mist brands

Gruppo Campari recently reached an agreement with Heaven Hill Brands (a Kentucky-based company that produces Bourbon whiskey and other spirits) for the sale of Carolans and Irish Mist liqueurs.

The operation, which involves the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of the subsidiary TJ Carolan & Son Ltd., is valued at €141.7 million including the company’s warehouse and production assets and will be completed on 1 August.

In 2016 Carolans Irish Cream and Irish Mist generated sales of €34 million, mainly in the United States, equivalent to 2% of Gruppo Campari’s total sales.
