Carlsberg invests in Cambodian beer
Denmark-based Carlsberg group has increased its stake in Cambodian brewer Cambrew from 50% to 75%.
One of the largest brewers in the country with a number of brands including the iconic Angkor Premium Beer, Cambrew also produces and bottles Pepsi for the Cambodian market.
Carlsberg stated that the operation was aimed at strengthening its position in the Asian beer market in view of the region’s appealing long-term business opportunities.
