Cft Group gains control of Comac

With an investment of €25 million, Cft Group (Parma) has acquired a 61% stake in Comac (Bonate, BG), a company operating in the food product packaging and distribution sector with a special focus on beer kegging systems.

The acquisition is part of a broader diversification strategy aimed at strengthening Cft Group’s competitive position in the beverage sector and in particular in the beer bottling and kegging segment where Comac is one of the market leaders.

The acquisition will enable Cft Group to offer complete turnkey solutions in a sector with strong development prospects.

Comac has 150 employees and posted revenues of €33 million in 2017.
