Conserve Italia posts growth in revenues
Conserve Italia closed the 2016-2017 financial year ending 30 June with 1% growth in aggregate revenues to around €900 million, largely thanks to the strong performance of its foreign subsidiaries (up 10.3% in a year).
EBITDA reached €58 million and net profits €3.7 million. The Italian parent company Conserve Italia also posted strong results, closing the year with profits of €5 million.
The group’s growth is particularly impressive given the adverse market scenario caused by factors such as Brexit and the contraction in the fruit juice and tomato segments.
