Damate earmarks €230 million for turkey production

Damate Group, one of the largest turkey meat producers in the Russian Federation, is making a €230 million investment aimed at doubling production to 155,000 tons/year.

The project will be completed within two years and will involve expanding production capacity for both hatching eggs and poultry, including modernisation of the processing plant and the addition of new production lines. Storage capacity will also be increased to 100,000 tons.

The investments will create around 2,000 new jobs alongside the current workforce of 3,500.
