Danone records strong sales performance
Danone Group is seeing strong sales growth. In 2017 the French agri-food giant posted revenues of €24.6 billion, up 12.5% on the €21.9 billion of 2016.
Profits totalled €2.45 billion, an increase of 42.6% (compared to €1.72 billion in 2016).
This growth was largely attributable to mineral water sales (up 10.3% in Q4), acquisition of the US group WhiteWave and growth of the specialised nutrition division (+2.5%).
