Duni enters the sustainable packaging sector
Duni, a Swedish packaging manufacturer listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, has acquired a 75% stake in Biopac (UK), a company operating in the sustainable food and drink packaging sector since 2002.
Biopac’s product range includes 100% compostable beverage cups made from corn starch, compostable coffee cups and paper straws.
Duni has a total workforce of over 2,300 people at its production facilities in Sweden, Germany, Poland, New Zealand and Thailand and exports its products to more than 40 countries worldwide.
