FRoSTA acquires brand names La Valle degli Orti, Mare Fresco and Surgela
The German group FRoSTA has strengthened its presence in Italy by purchasing the three Nestlé brands La Valle degli Orti, Mare Fresco and Surgela, a business line that generates a turnover of 80 million euros.
The operation is part of a plan launched by the Swiss multinational last December in which the Benevento facility will specialise exclusively in the production of Buitoni brand frozen pizzas.
With a turnover of 440 million euros, 1600 employees and a presence in 8 countries, FRoSTA is one of the largest European players in the frozen food market and is well known in Italy for its successful launch of entirely additive-free products.
