GIMA TT: all economic indicators growing by record amounts
GIMA TT, one of the leading manufacturers of automated tobacco product packaging machinery, closed 2017 with exceptional growth: net profit of 151.8 mn euro (51.2% up over the 100.4 mn registered in 2016).
Exports accounted for more than 72%, with outstanding results in Europe and Asia, but the domestic market also saw double digit growth (13%). This growth affects all the company's economic indicators. The EBITDA grew to 61.7 mn euro (53.4% more than the 40.2 mn of the previous year), while the EBIT grew to 61.2 mn euro, an increase of 54%, and operating profits were registered at 44.1 mn euro (up 62%). The company's orders book has also grown (110.4 mn euro, up 24.6%), to which we must add the positive performance of the first two years of this year.
For 2018, the Group is estimating earnings in excess of 180 mn euro and a gross operating profit of 75 mn euro.
