GIMA TT records sharp revenue growth in the first 9 months of 2018 (+24.8%)

GIMA TT, a producer of automatic packaging machinery for tobacco products, has posted 24.8% growth in revenue in the first nine months of 2018 to €134 million (compared to €107.3 million in the nine months to 30 September 2017).

The company also performed strongly in terms of EBITDA, which reached €50.3 million compared to €45.8 million in the same period the previous year, EBIT (€49.7 million compared to €45.4 million) and pre-tax profits (€49.6 million compared to €45.4 million).

Based on existing orders to 30 September (€73.9 million), in fiscal 2018 GIMA TT expects to post total revenues of more than €180 million (€151.8 million 2017) and an EBITDA of around €75 million (€63 million in 2017).

The company is working with leading international players on a range of projects in the field of both conventional and new-generation reduced-risk products, and also sees excellent prospects in the Chinese market.
