Hilton Food Group to open new factory in Auckland
Hilton Food, a UK-based group specialising in meat packaging (£1.23 billion revenues in 2016), is expanding its operations in New Zealand with the opening of a new processing plant in Auckland which will supply products to Progressive Enterprises, the largest distributor in the country.
The new facility is due to begin production in 2020 and will process beef, lamb, pork, chicken and value-added products. Hilton plans to invest around US $54 million (€33 million) in plant and equipment.
