Igor acquires Santi gorgonzola brands
Igor Gorgonzola, a market-leading producer of Gorgonzola DOP cheese based in Cameriano (NO), has acquired the historic brand names of its former competitor Santi in an auction after the company went into liquidation on 28 October 2014.
The brands, particularly the famous Quattrorose, will be used for products made using artisanal methods and following the time-honoured recipe at the Igor group’s factories in Pal, at the foot of Monte Rosa, and in the historic Clin cheese factory in Cameriano.
