Illycaffè opens eighth store in San Francisco

Illycaffè, the historic Trieste-based coffee company founded in 1933, has opened a further two coffee bars in San Francisco, bringing to eight the total number of locations in the US city.

The operation is part of the company’s expansion plans in the USA, where it already has a presence in cities including Chicago, Washington D.C., Detroit, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami and Toronto.

Illy serves 7 million cups of coffee every year in more than 140 countries. It has a total of 230 coffee bars and brand stores across 43 countries.
