Japan largest export market for Franciacorta wine
In 2016 Japan was the top export market for Franciacorta sparkling wine with 15% growth in sales to reach 22% of total exports.
Next came Switzerland with a 15.2% share, Germany with 13.2% and the United States with 12.4%.
But the best performances - albeit with lower initial values - were in Sweden and Finland with growth of 514% and 249% respectively.
