Latteria Soresina acquires Brescialat and consolidates its leadership

Latteria Soresina reinforces its leadership in the Grana Padano industry with the acquisition of Brescialat, the Cremonese company with a turnover of 32 mn euro.

The M&A will result in a group with turnover of more than 365 mn euro (with 20% in exports) and will enable Latteria Soresina to produce an additional 16,000 forms of Grana Padano a year, for a total production of 500,000 forms.

Brescialat aims to double its production to a total of 30,000 forms next year, for an overall value of 7.5 mn euro. The 50 workers at the Chiari plant will be taken on by Latteria Soresina, which will thus reach a total workforce of 620 direct employees along with around 160 external collaborators.
