Major investment in the glass container and food segment in Uzbekistan

ASL OYNA, one of the leading glass container manufacturers in Uzbekistan, is set to invest US $178 million with the aim of increasing annual production from 200 million to 600 million containers and further developing its operations in the food segment.

To achieve this goal, the company will spend US $130 million on purchasing new equipment (including three new furnaces) and the remaining US $48 million on the construction of 7 plants for the production of carbonated beverages, spirits, canned fruit and vegetables, labels and metal caps at the Sergeli industrial park in Tashkent.
