Massimo Zanetti Beverage Group sets its sights on Indonesia
Massimo Zanetti Beverage Group has its sights firmly set on Indonesia.
Through its subsidiary Boncafé International, the group recently completed the acquisition of a 67% shareholding in PT Caswells Indonesia, which will soon become Pt Bon Café Indonesia. The remaining 33% stake continues to be owned by a well-known shareholder.
The decision to invest in the country is based on its rapid and continuous growth in coffee consumption (it is the world’s fourth largest producer) and will help to strengthen the company’s presence in Asia where it aims to become a market leader, especially in the Food Service and Single Serve channel.
The opportunities for cross-selling of products such as Boncafè Segafredo Zanetti and La San Marco and improved use of internal resources will help to promote the brand name and improve operational efficiency.
