Merger between Dow Chemical and DuPont finalised
Dow Chemical and DuPont have merged to form the holding company DowDuPont.
The operation will create three independent publicly traded companies which are leaders in their respective fields of Agriculture, Materials Science and Specialty Products.
Valued at US $130 billion, the deal will enable the newly-formed holding company to control 25% of the global agricultural chemicals market.
