Nestlè opens a new plant in Dubai

Nestlè has opened its 18th Middle eastern plant in South Dubai, with an investment of 530 mn dirham (around 130 mn euro) to consolidate 80 years of the multinational's presence in the area. 

The new plant, with 340 employees, will be producing the Maggi and Nescafè ranges, and is the third plant now operating in Dubai, after Nestlè Waters and Nestlé Dubai Manufacturing, which make Kitkat, Quality Street by Mackintosh, and Nido products.

The company employees over 11,000 people in the Middle East, with 60 innovative brands covering a vast range of products (dairy and infant nutrition, bottled water, chocolate and sweets, cream for coffee, breakfast cereals and delicatessen products).
