New Robopac facility in Castel San Pietro due to start up in 2018

The new Robopac facility located in Castel San Pietro (Bologna), in the heart of Italy’s Packaging Valley, will come into operation towards mid-2018, marking a further step forward in the growth of the company owned by the Aureli family.

This major investment will enable Robopac to relaunch a historic industrial site, transforming it into a strategically-located international hub of innovation and research that can easily be reached from anywhere in the world thanks to the nearby Bologna Guglielmo Marconi airport and the efficient motorway and railway network.

The new facility will house the revolutionary TechLab, the sector’s most advanced research laboratory devoted to continuous innovation and customer support in the field of palletized load stabilization.
