Noberasco inaugurates its new 4.0 factory
On 12 July, Noberasco, the dry fruit and nuts company established in 1908, with a portfolio of over 100 products in the organic and healthy food segment, inaugurated its 4.0 plant at Savona.
The new plant, the result of an investment of 40 million euro, is located on a 60,000 sq.m. area, of which 5000 are dedicated to fully automated refrigeration systems for storing the raw materials, with 3 pasteurisation lines, 10 packaging lines (for a total capacity of 150 tons a day) and an automated warehouse which can hold more than 8000 pallets of finished product.
In 2016, the company produced 14,000 tons of product, with 20% growth in turnover (for a total 122 million euro), which is predicted to exceed 130 million in 2017.
