Parmalat posts 3.2% growth
Parmalat Group posted €6,695.5 million revenues in 2017, a year-on-year increase of €206.1 million (+3.2%).
Net profits also rose to €103.6 million (compared to €79.4 million in 2016), while EBITDA dropped by 1.1% to €453.6 million due to the lower profitability of the sales mix and a fall in sales volumes of branded products.
Overseas sales performed strongly in Africa (+2.7%), Oceania (+2%) and the USA but declined in Latin America and Canada. Revenues in Europe totalled €1,145.3 million, mostly generated by the Italian market.
In the current year the Group is estimating growth of around 1.5% in net revenue and between 3% and 5% in EBITDA.
