Selex Group posts revenues of 10.35 billion euros
Selex Group has maintained its position as the third largest Italian retailer with revenues of €10.35 billion in 2016, 4% up on the previous year, and growth in market share to 11.9%.
The Group also posted strong results in the first four months of 2017 (from January to April) with growth of 1.6%. This percentage rises to 2.7% considering new supermarket openings (24 in the first half of 2017 out of the 57 planned by the end of the year) following an investment of €215 million that also covers the renovation of more than 50 existing units and the e-commerce service.
The group manages more than 2,500 sales outlets throughout Italy and expects to reach revenues of €10.78 billion by the end of the year (up 4.2% on 2016).
