SPM Drink Systems acquired by Electrolux

SPM Drink Systems, a company based in Spilamberto (Modena) specialising in the production of dispensers for frozen and hot beverages and soft ice cream, has been acquired by Electrolux.

With this acquisition, the Swedish electrical appliance multinational intends to expand into the hospitality sector and extend its field of operations in the drinks dispenser business.

SPM, which will continue to be run by the Grampassi family, operates in 90 countries worldwide and has 110 employees.

In 2017 it posted revenues of €30 million. Forthcoming investment projects include the construction of an innovative factory located next to the existing plant.
