Suntory to invest £13 million at its UK site
Japan’s Suntory Beverage & Food has announced a £13 million investment at the factory in Coleford, Gloucestershire owned by its UK-based subsidiary Lucozade Ribena Suntory.
The investment will serve to install a new highly-sustainable high-speed bottle filler capable of producing 1.3 million bottles per day.
The amount of water and energy required to produce each bottle will be reduced by 40%.
Lucozade Ribena Suntory produces brands such as Fitwater, Ribena and Orangina.
The new filler is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2019.
