The Man from Del Monte says yes to Bonduelle

The Bonduelle food group has signed an agreement with US firm Conagra Brands for the acquisition of the Canadian processed fruit and vegetable brand Del Monte.

The transaction, valued at around €27.6 million, is expected to be completed by the end of May.

Conagra’s Del Monte business in Canada, with revenues of approximately €38.5 million, will complement the canned and frozen vegetable business of subsidiary Bonduelle Americas Long Life.

The Bonduelle group operates 54 industrial sites and sells its products in more than 100 countries through a variety of channels.
