Treviso-based firm P.E.T. Engineering joins Sidel group

Sidel, a company owned by leading Swiss supplier of beverage packaging plant and machinery Tetra Laval, has acquired San Vendemiano, Treviso-based firm P.E.T. Engineering, a specialist in the field of PET packaging for the beverage, food, cosmetics and detergent segments.

The operation will enable Sidel to strengthen its position in the sector by diversifying its range of offerings to include the design of containers for water, soft drinks, beer and milk-based drinks.

Founded in 1999, PET Engineering has forty employees and operates in the packaging sector with an approach that combines design, technology and engineering.

In 2017 the company received the WorldStar Award in the Beverage category and in 2018 the Golden A’ Design Award for Packaging Design.
