Tyson Food converts to antibiotic free production
American poultry giant Tyson Foods has announced that by the end of the year, its products will contain only antibiotic free chicken.
The official announcement was made at the Consumer Analyst Group 2017 of New York conference, at which the company also presented its new logo to underline its commitment to more sustainable production.
The move to antibiotic free production is also on the horizon for a number of fast food majors, including McDonald’s, KFC, Burger King and Wendy’s, while direct competitors Perdue and Pilgrim’s Pride converted their production last year.
