VeNetWork acquires major Italian liqueur producer Bauer

VeNetWork (Mestre, Venice) has acquired a 70% stake in Bauer, a historic Gorizia-based company specialising in the import and export of herbs and spices and one of the leading Italian producers of aromatic liqueurs.

VeNetWork, a joint stock company with private capital, comprises 59 Veneto-based entrepreneurs engaged in business re-startups who manage a total of approximately 200 companies employing 4,000 people in 90 countries worldwide.

The aim of the operation is to enable Bauer to embark on a process of diversification, increasing its international market presence and doubling its turnover (currently €6 million) in the space of three years.
