Vicenzi Group posts 5.2% revenue growth in 2016

Biscotti Vicenzi has closed 2016 with record revenues of €106 million (+5.2%), an EBITDA of €8.9 million (+6.1%) and a net result of €2 million (+98%).

Exports already account for 35% of revenues, but in 2017 the Verona-based company is expecting to double its sales in the USA (to €12 million), bringing total exports to €40 million.

The outlook for the current year is equally promising. Vicenzi posted 20% growth in turnover in the first 5 months of 2017 and is planning investments of €3.5 million (out of €6-7 million scheduled for the next three years).

A leading player in the industrial fine pastry sector known in particular for its brands Matilde Vicenzi, Grisbì and Mr. Day, the Group distributes its products through the large-scale retail channel (which accounts for 45% of Italian turnover) and through traditional retail outlets, and also exports to more than 100 countries worldwide. Its largest export market is the USA, where it has its own sales branch.
