Warsteiner launches new eco-friendly beer bottle with less glass
Warsteiner, one of the largest and oldest private German breweries, has launched a new 0.33 litre eco-friendly bottle.
With 0.5 mm thinner glass, the bottle is 45 grams lighter, allowing for savings of 8,000 tons of glass a year and a consequent reduction in CO2 emissions during transport.
The project is part of the eco-sustainable policies of a company which has always devoted the utmost attention to the environment in its production and logistics activities. The new packaging is now available in 60 countries including Italian supermarkets and bars.
