Best Packaging 2017: the winners

On 17 May at Milan, Best Packaging 2017, the Oscars ceremony for the packaging industry, now in its 60th year, recognised the six best Italian packaging solutions for their technical innovation, design and sustainability.

The event, organised with the Milan Polytechnic and sponsored by Altroconsumo, Conai and Ipack-Ima 2018, awarded the quality design of Drip Pack by Di Mauro Officine Grafiche (food industry), Bustarame by Adercarta (fresh counter products) and Rapida by Taplast (personal care - e-commerce).

The special awards went to Sealed Air's Darfresh range (technology award), for its ability to extend the product's shelf life, to Gruppo Sada for their Cornerless fruit and vegetables tray packaging system (environment award) and to Nutella Embossed (overall award) for its optimisation of space and promotion of re-use.

The next Best Packaging awards will be held at Ipackima 2018 (29 May - 2 June 2018).
