Italian packaging industry takes off for Shanghai
A group of Italian companies coordinated by the Italian Trade Agency and Ucima will be taking part collectively in China's premier trade fair for the general packaging industry.
Italian packaging technologies will play a starring role at Propak China, China's most important trade fair for the general packaging industry, to be held from 15 to 17 July at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) in Shanghai.
Ten companies will be exhibiting under the collective banner of Ucima and the Italian Trade Agency, namely Aetna Group, Arol, Brenna, Cavanna Packaging Group, Fenco, Fiere di Parma, FTP System, Imanpack, Laser and Pietribiasi. A number of other Italian companies will have independent stands at the event.
China is a very important market for Italy. It was the second largest market for Italian technology in 2014, accounting for 7.1% of total exports, with a value of over 340 million euros.
The next promotional appointment will be in Nigeria, at Propak West Africa, from 1 to 3 September.
