Italian packaging in the spotlight in Bangkok
A group of 14 Italian companies coordinated by Ucima and the Italian Trade Agency ICE will be taking part in the leading packaging technology exhibition in Southeast Asia.
Propak Asia, the leading packaging technology exhibition in Southeast Asia, will be held in Bangkok from 17 to 20 June.
Italy will have a strong presence at this important event with a group of 14 companies coordinated by Ucima and the Italian Trade Agency ICE in a 300 square metre pavilion.
The Italian companies taking part are: Aetna Group, Amut, Authoma, Cepi, CFT, Easy Snap, Firex, Ima, Ocme, Pelliconi, Pneumofore, Sacmi, Tecnopool and Tropical Food Machinery.
Thailand is an important market for the Italian packaging industry and plays a key role as a commercial hub for the whole of Southeast Asia.
In 2014 the Italian packaging industry exported machinery worth 51.8 million euros to Thailand and generated 381 million euros from exports to Southeast Asia as a whole, where it has a market share of 25%.
