Ucima and ICE at Pack Expo Las Vegas 2013

The Italian automatic packaging machinery manufacturers’ association will be taking part together with the Italian Trade Promotion Agency ICE in the premier show in Las Vegas, where more than 40 Italian companies will be exhibiting. The ICE-Ucima business point will provide assistance to Italian exhibitors and visiting Italian companies and information to attendees interested in Italian technology
Ucima (Italian Packaging Machinery Manufacturers’ Association) will be taking part alongside ICE (Italian Trade Promotion Agency) in Pack Expo Las Vegas, the premier show to be held in Las Vegas from 23 to 25 September.
The ICE-Ucima stand, located in the central hall (stand C451-452), will provide assistance to the Italian companies taking part and information to visitors interested in Italian packaging technologies.
Inside the stand, a space for B2B meetings and a refreshment area will be at the disposal of Italian companies. An LCD monitor will be available for viewing advertising videos. Companies will also be able to leave brochures and flyers on the stand to be handed out to visitors.
The Italian participation in Pack Expo Las Vegas has been advertised in the trade magazine Packaging Digest and in a digital brochure mailed to the leading US industry players. The printed version of the brochure will also be distributed at the stand.

In even-numbered years Pack Expo Las Vegas is the premier showcase for promoting Italian technology in North America, and this year will see the participation of more than 40 Italian companies.
The importance of the US market for the Italian packaging industry is demonstrated by the sales figures. In the first six months of 2013 the United States was the biggest export market for the Italian automatic packaging machinery manufacturers, accounting for revenues of almost 187 million euro, 8.3% of the Italian companies’ total exports.
The ICE-Ucima stand will also be handing out promotional literature for Cibus Tec - Food Pack, the food processing and packaging technologies exhibition to be held in the Parma exhibition centre from 28 to 31 October 2014.
