Excellence in packaging: Italy’s leading role at Interpack
Ucima and Ice-Agenzia support the participation of over 400 Italian companies at the most important trade-fair in the sector scheduled for 8-14 May in Dusseldorf.
"Excellence in packaging" is the claim of the communication campaign created by Ucima (Unione Costruttori Italiani Macchine Automatiche per il confezionamento e l'imballaggio – Italian Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Association) supporting Italian participation at Interpack, the biggest trade-fair in the sector currently being held in Dusseldorf.
The claim and the image chosen are designed to underline the technological excellence of the companies regardless of their nationality.
Italy competes with Germany for leadership in the sale of automatic packaging machines with a market share of around 26%.
The campaign will focus on the 57 turnstiles at the main entrances, inviting the visitors to discover the 415 Italian companies taking part in the trade-fair. The visitors will be given a map to help pinpoint the Italian companies.
Promotional material of the Italian companies will also be available at the Ucima-ICE-Agenzia stand.
12th May will be a day dedicated to Italy. In addition to the international press conference, a round table will also be held entitled "Italian packaging and TCO: why quality costs less".
The adoption of TCO practices is increasingly becoming a strategic lever vis-à-vis international competition and is now required by the big multinational customers.
This is why the Association has decided to initiate an awareness and support programme, helping companies to adopt the Total Cost of Ownership.
