Italian food technology in Algeria

The food technology exhibition Djazagro is currently being held in the Safex Exhibition Park in Algiers and will continue until 21 April 2016.

A total of 700 companies are exhibiting in a space of 21,000 square metres, while more than 21,000 visitors are expected from all regions of Algeria and neighbouring countries.

The Italian food processing and packaging industry is represented by 53 companies hosted in a 606 square metre country pavilion organised by the Italian Trade Agency ICE and Ucima.

The participating companies are based in Italy’s main food technology manufacturing areas, including 9 in the province of Parma, 8 in the province of Vicenza, 4 in the province of Treviso, 3 each in the provinces of Padua, Milan, Bologna and Reggio Emilia and 2 each in the provinces of Monza, Verona, Pavia and Perugia.

Companies from the provinces of Arezzo, Brescia, Forlì, Gorizia, Modena, Pesaro, Pescara, Sondrio, Turin, Udine and Venice are also present.

At the ICE-UCIMA institutional stand visitors can pick up promotional literature for Ipack IMA 2018, one of the most important international exhibitions for suppliers of technologies and materials for packaging, processing and internal logistics.
