Italian packaging in Shanghai

Italian packaging technologies will be among the highlights of Propak China, one of China's most important trade fairs for the general packaging industry, being held from 13 to 15 July at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) in Shanghai.

Seven companies are exhibiting their products under the collective banner of Ucima and the Italian Trade Agency, namely Aetna Group, Carle & Montanari, Ilpra, Gama, Nunziata, Pelliconi and Uteco. A number of other Italian companies will have independent stands at the event.

China is a very important market for Italy. It was the fourth largest market for Italian technology in 2015, accounting for 5% of total exports, with a value of 238 million euros.

The next promotional events will be in Nigeria, at Propak West Africa from 20 to 22 September, and Myanmar, at Propak from 22 to 24 September.
