Packaging machinery manufacturers begin their promotional campaign in Vietnam and South Africa

The international promotional programme organised for Italian companies by Ucima, the Italian Packaging Machinery Manufacturers’ Association, will begin in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

It will stop off in many countries over the next few months, including Egypt, Algeria, Korea, Brazil, Mexico, Iran, Russia, Thailand, China, Indonesia, Nigeria, Myanmar, Peru and the USA.

The first event in the programme is Propak Vietnam, due to begin on 1 March. The companies Cavanna, Cerutti, Unifill, Magnoni, Melegari Manghi, Pietribiasi, OCME, Sacmi, Ipi, Arol,  Pfm, Tropical Food, Water Systems and Bertolaso will be taking part in the important Vietnamese show. 

It will be followed a few weeks later, from 15 to 18 March, by Propak Africa, the most important exhibition of packaging machinery in the African continent.

The Italian pavilion will see the participation of companies Cepi, Unifill, Sipa, Cartiera di Ferrara, Smi, Tropical Food, Megadyne, Goglio, Bocedi, Ocme and Sacmi.

Both initiatives will receive financial and operational support from the Italian Trade Agency ITA.

The various stops in the promotional programme will also provide an opportunity to promote the 2018 edition of the exhibition Ipack Ima, one of the world’s most important events in the sector which will be held in the Fiera Milano Rho exhibition centre from 29 May to 2 June 2018.

Ucima recently took over the show’s management by setting up a new company together with Fiera Milano.
