CS 10/14

The Association will present to the business community gathered in Dusseldorf exclusive studies to support the strategic positioning of the companies in the sector. One of the most interesting studies is the financial analysis of the 100 most important European automatic machine manufacturers

Exclusive surveys to support the competitiveness of automatic packaging machine manufacturers. This is the common denominator of the studies and analyses performed by the Research Department of Ucima, the trade association of Italian packaging machine manufacturers.

The new catalogue of studies, economic forecasts and statistics, benchmarking and business intelligence analyses will be presented to the international packaging industry community at Interpack, the biggest trade-fair in the sector currently being held in Dusseldorf.

In addition to the usual monthly, quarterly and yearly analyses which provide an accurate picture of the sector trends in Italy and abroad, the Ucima Research Department has added to its catalogue exclusive studies on financial analysis, competitive and benchmarking analysis, market analysis and packaging machine sales forecasts.

In particular, at Interpack a preview of the first study on financial analysis of the one hundred most important European packaging machine manufacturers with turnovers of over 25 million euros will be presented.

The analysis offers an opportunity to assess and compare economic-financial  performances in the sector grouped according to: data on the organisation and recent evolution of the various management areas; on the net financial position and the debt structure; main financial statement ratios, profitability indicators at the different levels of the value chain; alert and financial vulnerability indicators, rating of firms and different enterprise types and comparison with the sector averages.

It is therefore a useful working tool for everyone operating in the world of packaging technologies.
